My juniper (see photo) is turning yellowish brown. It looks dry due to the color however the needles are not falling off. It lives on a partial-sunny balcony in South Florida. It seemed to be doing well until recently after giving it 名媛直播 Gruanilar Fertilizer. Could this be the issue? It is watered only when soil is dry using a chopstick to test the soil. Please help me determine this change in color and to save my bonsai if it's dying. Thank you.

Not dying. Dead. Sorry, man. Junipers can remain green for several weeks even after they've suffered severe problems, but they don't reach this color until they're completely toast. There could be many reasons why it got to this point. The soil should always remain damp - neither soggy wet nor bone dry. If this pot has no drainage holes (or they're blocked with the vendor's hot glue - typical), it could have suffered from water logging to begin with it, or dried out completely if not watered in time. I'd say this was the main cause.
The fertilizer may have burned the roots, but if you followed instructions, may only be a small factor.
This style of juniper is known to this community as a mallsai, and is not considered bonsai. It's usually where a vendor takes a cutting from a plant, sticks in a pot, and calls it 'bonsai.' It's a cutting in a cup. Yours may have not had time to establish good roots before it was sold. Mallsai are most often seen during the holidays, when someone needs to make a quick buck.
That's not being mean, that's just what it is. If you want to continue with bonsai, stick around the forum, ask questions, do some research, and try again. Good luck.

It's a juniper without a style in a non-suitable vase. I wouldn't even call this a mallsai. Just a decorative plant.
