Vacation Trouble

I went back to my parent's for the holiday. I did what the store owner who I bought the tree from said, I put the plastic cover over the tree after watering it. I just got back and some of the leaves are a little yellow. I touched one and it seemed super moist and fragile. The soil was still pretty wet. Which makes me think it almost got water logged. I think once it dries out it will be fine, but I'm wondering if the leaves will be fine, or if they are a lost cause.

No. I'm wondering if I'm accurate in my prediction and what I should do, and also if the leaves will recover.
