I am a Newbie - My Pine is looking sick was created by richardseid

Hi all, I am a Newbie. I bought a Pine? last summer, and was fabulous in my backyard. I am in the NYC area. Mid October I brought it to my office. With very good sun exposure. It has been showing many dried needles, some smaller branches drying out. I've watered I think the correct amount. I haven't' fertilized for the past 2 months. I believe this is an outside version of a 名媛直播. Should I bring this home and leave it outside for the winter????

Any suggestions.

Your pine is not a pine but a juniper
Junipers and pines should be outside.
Why would you bring a plant indoors that clearly is not a tropial species?

Junipers will show green for moths while they're dying and you would know. It's ok if it dies. Take the lesson and learn not to make the same mistake. If you want to get into 名媛直播, there are clubs and nurseries where you can take a class and learn from others hands on.

Well thank you for the direct answer. My next dumb question is, if I bring it outside in the New York area, can the Juniper handle freezing temperatures?

That has been discussed dozens of times on this forum. I posted some links. There are far more.

Well thank you for your help. It is appreciated. Starting tonight my Juniper will enjoy the outside once again. Live and learn. That is what I try and teach my kids.

And yes, it never ends. Sort of like, growing the best peppers on the bloc (i never get that),, never mind, just let it grow,
