Juniper With Pests and Money Tree With Spots was created by Thick_propheT

Hi all. I joined this forum in hope that someone could help me figure out how to bring my two trees back to health. As it stands they both appear to be in pretty bad shape.

My juniper has little webs on the ends of the branches with reddish brown specs in the webs. I found some reference online to fall webworms that seems to fit what this looms like, but couldn't find any treatment. Maybe I'm not looking for the right thing or in the right place. This tree is indoors only, so I'm not sure where these things came from. Maybe they were brought in from my money tree (see below).

My money tree grove has a few different things going on. First, let me note that the trunks in question are the weakest of the three trunk clusters. I've already lost two trunks from this cluster and I'm worried that more will die. I've been having trouble with the leaves on this trunk cluster turning yellow lately and have tried moving them outdoors for more sunlight, but that didn't help much. I also tried increased watering while it was outside, since the soil seemed to dry faster. Now that its getting colder and I'm seeing frost, I've brought it back indoors, but have noticed that some leaves have brown spots now instead of yellow and that the tops of some of the trunks are turning brown.

Can someone help diagnose these poor guys before they get any worse?

Thanks.

your juniper has spider mite. I xdo hope you are notkeeping it there? it should ALWAYS be outside, or it will die.
your money tree.. no idea. Then again. I would never choose this species for bonsai, and have never kept one.

The money tree is not a bonsai but a braided house plant. You'll probably get more adequate answers on a house plant forum like:

The juniper... one of the most common mallsai, often falsely sold as indoor plant and subject of one the most frequently asked questions: why is it sick/dying/dead.

A good cold winter, aught to kill those, spider mites. If it's outside, any way. ;)
