I am from Delhi India. Got seeds online which look very much like the pic you have shown.

The sprouts seem much smaller than the ones we clean from the gutter, and pull from the garden, of coarse maple seeds look a lot the same. We call this one "Swamp Maple". They grow fast, and are hardy, they sprout up all over.
I've been told by a reliable source, they don't make good bonsai. Something about leaves not reducing. I saved my favorites though, maybe I can learn something from them. Come spring, find a nice native tree, that you mind if they died, or just won't turn out.
It does give me some enjoyment, playing with them.

You are quite right. They have grown all over and I don't propose to bonsai them. Most of them have grown around 3 inches but the leaves are kind of big.
