I recently bought this recently (yesterday) and I want to cater and look after it but I am unsure as to what species it may be. If anyone could help me out that would be much appreciated.

Juniper, very young cutting, untrained, not a bonsai, doesn't belong indoors, shouldn't be in a bonsai pot.

Plant it in the garden if you have one or in a large pot to develop trunk girth and overall size.
