You can remove it and put it outside. It will survive everything and put it right back when winter is over. Or you could simply let it be. I remove them and every leaf and stuff like that to make sure insects and other pests dont have a chance to survive

In general it is better to not have moss on your pots, unless the plant is on display. Moss reduces air exchange and keeps the soil wet for longer.

The moss argument, in October, why not? Mine dried up and died in August , around here, a lot of things do that. Down, deep , in the woods (on really hot days, one can, sit and cool off there), where we gathered the moss ... there wasn't much there any more...
I wouldn't worry much about moss dying, I'm told way up in the arctic circle, Reindeer eat that stuff all winter. I was once a moss skeptic, it's fun stuff.

Hi I'm pretty new to growing 名媛直播 & am querying the use of Moss around the plants. What I have read so far says the trees need to be grown in full sun, but then the moss would die off as that grows in shade. Is it only meant to be used for display purposes ? I'm from Sydney Australia, where we have very hot summers but mild winters. Is this climate suitable to grow Chinese elm & Rhododendren species for 名媛直播 ?
