I need some help as I am not sure what type of Bonsia this is and its leaves are dying and falling off. Am I over watering or not watering enough.

The plant type is: Mallsai
If you meant the tree species:
What did they tell you it is when you purchased it?
Did you check the 'Tree Species' section (top of the page) ?

How long have you kept this tree? I don't see dried up leaves falling off. It's normal to have a few fall from time to time. Especially when moved.
Did it come with instructions?

I have only had the tree about 4 months. I clear all the dead leaves when I water it and if moved a lot more leaves fall off than I would expect. Two branches are now almost bare. The tree didn't have any instructions which is why I'm looking for advice and what type of tree it is so I can look up all about it. Any advice or help would be great. Thanks

It almost looks like an azalea. I think with a bit of trimming you could make a nice tree out of this. From what I cnan see, I would not lump this in the mallsai corner.
Is it still alive? it looks to me like the crow is so dense, that the inner leaves lack light and are therefor dropped. Where do you keep it?
