New guy fro Mi. So after a bit of time doing research and looking at countless blogs and websites, i bought a tree. Its a ficus nerifolia. My question is should i let it be and keep it alive , work on nebari or repot with fresh soil? I dont have a plan for it just yet. If you share your wisdom, it will be greatly appreciated.

Plant it in the ground next spring, comb out the roots and maybe plant on a tile to develop the nebari.
Wait 5+ years and then worry about everything else, I'm sure you'll know what to do when that time comes.

Sorry, plant it in progressively larger pots.
It will also take a lot longer this way.

I know this is not helpful in any way, but I can tell from the sticker on the pot that this is from the same grower as my Fukien Tea tree. I purchased it in a general nursery in the suburbs of Philadelphia though. My tree puts out new branches like a weed. I hope yours is just as healthy. Enjoy.
