Reviving my bonsai was created by Jiujiteiro

I bought a bonsai from a nursery a few months ago and in just a few weeks I managed to ruin it. I left it in a sunny spot and half the leaves were burnt from the May Texas sun. Since then I have repotted the plant and fertilized it after scrambling for ways to revive it.
Still though, the leaves are not reproducing.

Are there any other things that I can do to help aid its recovery ?

1) Repotted
2) Fertilized

You don't fertilize a plant that is dying and stressed... ONLY fertilize healthy plants. And you don't re-pot unless it is an emergency type (bad soil or pot bound). Your actions finished up your tree - fatality. Plant is probably dead.

you live and you learn. Next time this happens, put it in a shady spot and water accordingly, good luck.

Do you still have leaves on the tree? Then just keep on watering, keep the plant in semi-shade and wait.
I have a tree that I found on the side of the road in winter. Come spring, there was one flush of leaves, maybe 100 in total. It has been sitting like that since april/may. Not a single new leave. Next year it will probably compensate and give yuo a big push of leaves.

If there is no foliage left, chances are the tree is no longer alive.

"Another common bonsai myth is that sick or recovering plants, or newly transplanted bonsai should not be fertilized. The analogy is that it will over feed the patient or is the equivalent of over dosing with vitamins. I think the proper analogy should be that feeding at half strength or not all is analogous to not taking your medicine, vitamins and nutrition when you are sick."

Try playing some light Jazz and dimming the lights.

And next time, try not to worry and do too much, it doesn't help the tree or yourself.

Wait. Is this true? This is really important, as thia is literally what everyone says. Fertilize sick plants?. I have a friend's tree that just went through emergency tepotting, very bad soil and overwatering... I have it on a shady spot and i am not fertilizing.
