I looked at the identification guide and the closest I can come to is Cryptomeria Japonica. Am I correct?

No. This is a very young Juniper procumbens nana. The dwarf variety of Juniper Procumbens. It is a very common plant grown in gardens as a shrub. It can be turned into a fine 名媛直播, with years and years of dedication and patience.

Thanks. I will look up specific guidelines for this juniper to study it. Can u give me a start with water and sun instructions? Or can I follow guidelines for junipers?

It is a juniperus, so follow the guidelines.
Lots of sun, water enough to not let it dry out completely, but never soaking wet. Junipers prefer hot and dry over wet and cold.
