Hi everyone! New member here and I'm needing some help. I got this tree from Walmart, thinking, what the heck, let's give it a try and see how it goes. I got her in May, water it every couple days and she is definitely growing. I have a couple, many questions:
1. What kind is is?
2. What should I plan on doing with her in the Fall/Winter stages. It's mid-August, I live in WV and it gets very cold around here starting in December and starts getting cool and raining in mid October.
3. Should I be triming the leaves/branches?
4. Should she be moved away from the window at seasons change?
5.Re-potting?
6. What else should I do other than water?
Any input, suggestions would be amazing! I really am starting to love this thing and think of maybe getting another one.
Thanks for reading!!

Just plant it in a large flower pot either by slip-repotting or by waiting until early spring.
Winter care for ficus is fairly simple, just keep it inside.
It may take decades to be considered bonsai, so you have a lot of time to research, join a club, interact on forums and practise.

n.b. don't buy ''名媛直播'' from Walmart. Look up actual ficus bonsai and try to see the difference.

I disagree. It's not a seedling. Probably it's 5-7 years old.

Think it's ok to keep on the window sill during winter. It stays fairly cold for a few months in the winter.
Think I should repot this spring?
Trim or no?

I think that's OK. You can't keep it outside in winter.

That's up to you.
Trim or no?
if you want to keep its shape, you should trim the shoots that get too long.
if you want to turn this into a bonsai... that's going to require other techniques that I cannot (and will not) describe in this topic.

I don't understand what your last statement means. Like, go to a new forum...?

Oh, no, certainly not. However, it is simply not possible to give you an in-depth course on how to grow bonsai - and it would just not be feasible to do this for every newcomer. There are books, websites, videos that give more and better information than that what I can write here.
Start at this very website, there's basic information for growing bonsai, specific information for ficus, etcetera. From there, start doing research and start studying.
