Satsuki Azalea - Leaves turning red ? was created by adsike

Hi guys, So I've got a few 名媛直播 which include a Chinese Holly, A Drawf Rhododendron which I potted myself and then a couple of weeks ago i went into a local garden centre, smelt this azalea bonsai as I exited picked it up and brought it. When in the car it had a few yellow leaves, when home I cut off the yellow leaves and had a look around the tree and was quite happy about my purchase. Presuming the yellow leaves was from it being kept inside and maybe under watered ?

So forward maybe a week and a couple of days and i have started noticing all these red tips appearing on the edges of the azalea's leaves. initially i thought that it might be some sort of pest like lace bug or aphid or something but I have searched under the leaves and i found one black looking insect didn't move when touched it, that was enough or me to quickly make some soap spray and give it a good going over, all over the leaves including underside then rinsing off with normal water after.
Now its been two weeks more leaves are getting these red tips and seems to be spreading around the edges, Not to sure whats going on as the rhododendron isn't doing this and it close to the azalea. In england where i live its just finished a heatwave where it reached 30 for a couple of days and has been quite humid, not to sure if that is a factor. Tree is kept in shade for most parts of day with a morning misting. and watering only when top soil is looking dryish and little dry to the touch.

Any help is greatly appreciated if you have any idea's on what it is and if its normal for late july.

First, you say it is inside why? It is a hardy plant get it out. That is the first problem, second it needs sunshine not shade. There is no point in spraying with soap then washing it off, leave it. But if there is nothing there there is no reason to do it. Leaves do die, stop fussing and keep it watered and no fertiliser. Did it flower and are the flowers removed? You say you are in England where?

Hi guys, Thanks for the reply. No its outside, gets about 4-5 hours sun a day. The place I purchased it from had the azalea indoor :/ as for flowering couldn't tell you as i brought it after its flowering time, but brought it with some of the stems that come out from behind the flower cut, so i's presuming it flowered in may/june time

As for pictures, I can give you a few links:

Thanks guys

OK, I re read and saw that you did say it is out. The reason I asked if it had flowered is because the seed pods must be removed or it will not grow and produce flower buds for next year. I pruned mine a few weeks ago. It is a bit late to do it now if you want flowers next year, but if you want a better shape then you could do it and sacrifice flowers. Any shoots close to the trunk should be removed, and any suckers.

yeah sorry, seed pods have been removed. today most of the old leaves have fallen just leaving new leaves/growth which with a pull remain on the stem or branch, all the old leaves fell of with me even pulling down slightly to look at the top of the leaves, with most of them gone i went ahead and removed the rest of the red tinged leaves (some had turned red underside and almost black looking from the top) if the red colour transfers to new growth i think it could be possible root rot ? there is now one branch with no new growth on at all and all old growth has fallen leaving the branch, naked. However this was a short branch which lead into a Y shape so wasn't too much foliage on it, where the leaves fell from the branch was still fresh and green, only other thing I can honestly think of is that maybe when buying it and then taking it to where it should be (outside) has confused the heck out of it as it must of been kept inside and its dropping leaves early or something as its evergreen but shed's old leaves twice a year once spring once fall for the new growth to take over.
