Hi!
I got my first bonsai a lavender star for Valentines Day. this year. I have always wanted a bonsai tree. It was healthy and seemed well until a few weeks ago. Never made any flowers, but green and always growing new leaves. He started getting mold at the base of his trunk. Started dropping leaves more and more and now he's completely naked:( There is some green growth left on him at the very end of his branches, so i feel like there could still be hope??? I live in Michigan and while he was looking good my house was at about 68 and he sat on the table that got late afternoon sun only. I was watering as it felt needed....keeping his soil moist bu not soaked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

He? I thought you said you have a Lavender. You can't keep plants like that inside. It will not survive that is what is wrong with it

You probably tricked it into thinking that it was wintertime and it went dormant. Put it out in the shade and move it towards the sun at the pace of an inch a day. Maybe it will come back.

50 Fahrenheit degrees is allright, but do not too much watering. If you do, roots can rot.
