Hello, I am new to the Forum and I would like some help as I recently came across a 名媛直播 tree in a friends house and he has neglecting it! I asked him could I take it and he said yes, so I did extensive research and have narrowed it to a common privet.
It had barely branches, yellow discoloured leaves and dry soil, I watered it and regularly do when the soil gets dry to feel, the leaves have completely come off and it's not just a bare little bonsai, it's awful to see what could be a beautiful little bonsai
If anyone out there could give me advice or know what to do I would appreciate it a lot thanks!!

It'd be good to post a picture if you can.
Is there any green left at all? You could scratch some bark with your fingernail to see if it's still green, but it's not a guarantee.
The only thing you can do is to keep up what you're doing and see if new buds come out in 4-6 weeks. Privet are hardy, but dead is dead - you must wait to see.
Good luck, & don't forget the picture.
