Hey everyone,
I just bought a 7 year old Operculicarya today and I think that at the shop they excessively watered all the bonsais and I'm worried because the bottom of the trunk is dark and looks full of water. I put it near the window during the day in order to get it dry but it hasn't so far, do you think I should do something or I just wait until it gets dry?
I'll leave some pictures (excuse me for the bad quality, I'll try to update it with better ones & excuse me for the bad spelling, it's not my main language)
Thank you!

Maybe the soil is still wet. I'd wait a day or so.

I wouldn't have noticed. Your spelling is perfect. The only thing you got wrong is 'bonsais' - it's 'bonsai'

Just updating my bonsai's status (help!)
Well, it has been near a window all day, with good lightening and it still has it's soil veeeery wet and the trunk is still dark in the bottom. I've scratched a small bit on the darker part of the trunk and it looks green but not as green as a small scratch I did on top, I'm a bit afraid they ruined the bonsai at the shop with so much water...
Here's a picture from today with day light

looks to be in a soil type which holds too much water.. usually they do this to ensure the tree's survival during the weeks in transport from china to elsewhere..
