what should i do?

I have tropical almond running two years this december but it has no branch.. It bears a leaf one every week. Now its 1.5 feet tall. What should i do to make it branch.. It only grows straight and branchless. Please help me what to do.

What you should do is plant this tree in the ground, let it grow, and enjoy it as it is. Next, start studying bonsai, read books, forums and such, and find a species that is suitable for bonsai.

Almond (Prunus Dulcis) is very suitable for bonsai.
Tropical Almond (Terminalia Catappa) is not.
