Hello! I am very please to be part of the bonsai empire community.
I have received my very first plant, and I am very excited to be taking care of one!
And I need your help
What bonsai species is this? is this even a bonsai?
How do I take care of it? I think it is dying!
I have been watering it every 4 hours and bringing it outside during the night.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thankyou!

Welcome to bonsaiempire.

I am not sure what you have there, but it does not have much to do with bonsai. Looks like a bunch of ssedlings knotted together?

Plants DO NOT like to be moved around. Place it in one spot (Ideally outside). Leave it there. Only water when needed, so when the soil starts to dry out. Every 4 hours is insane. Think every few days when it is cool. Maybe every day in summer.

Hi Roejohn

It looks like a bunch of little vines all tied together. That's way to many plants to crowd so close together, grass doesn't even grow so close. The pots way to small for such a feat any way. It would probably fill with roots in no time at all.

With all those plants competing for resources, many are sure to die, then you'd have a bunch of dead roots blocking the water.

Of course i've never tried it, maybe someone has.

Oh, there is something here,

maybe you could get a clue there.
