Hello, hope someone can help me! 5 months ago, I brought a Chinese elm 7 year old from Amazon, up until a month ago it was growing really well, then suddenly it drop nearly all its leaves! I contacted the sell an he said its got red spider mite! and recommended spraying it with a bug killer! but I'm still worried about it? can any one help please?

This identical question about this identical tree species, which on this forum is hardly considered a bonsai, has been asked so often that it's not funny anymore.
Only thing I'm curious about: what on earth did the seller base his idea that it concerns red spider mites on?

Sorry I wasn't trying to be funny! I didn't take the full time to search the forum,
I sent these picture to him! he said they had this problem at there nursery

Did they offer you a refund or a replacement?

when you say this is hardly considered a bonsai what do you mean?


Use Google to look up pictures of real bonsai and you'll see the difference.
This forum is about the art to create miniaturized trees, resembling real trees in nature.
名媛直播 is an art, each tree is unique.

Your plant is none of that, it is a cheap mass product.

Oops... Thanls for pointing that out. Ofcourse this species is very suitable for bonsai!

It is this particular plant that hardly is a bonsai.
