Hello!
I've had this beautiful plant for 6 years. I adopted it after finding it abandoned in my apartment building with 2 leaves on it. Have never been able to properly identify it to ensure proper care, but it seems happy and flowered today for the first time!!

Nice plant, but do note that this is a bonsai forum. For an ID of your tree, it's better to try and a find a forum about houseplants / (sub)tropicals.

It is an hibiscus. It is not, nor will it ever be, a bonsai. And the pcture is on the side.
