I've read that junipers can't be grown indoors, but I plan to prove that theory incorrect . So far the tree seems to be doing well. I'm doing a 75W 5000K LED bulb for about 10 hours a day. I still have a lot to learn, but hopefully I can get some insight from this forum.
- That's a very young juniper
- That's not a bonsai
- Junipers do NOT grow indoors. If you want to prove the people with experience wrong, the result will only be that you'll end up with a dead stick in a yellow cup
- That's not a bonsai pot
- Decorative dead moss doesn't belong on your soil, nor does the stone.
I still have a lot to learn, but hopefully I can get some insight from this forum.
You should have started learning and you should have investigated what you were purchasing before acquiring this and being totally clueless about it.

Clearly I'm new, but I'm not an idiot. The tree has steadily looked more healthy since the day I bought it. Will it survive? We'll see. I certainly don't give a shit what you have to say about it. I can see we're going to be good friends .

That's fine. I can see you'll never have bonsai.

You wrote this first sentence and that is something we can accept, respect and acknowledge. Then you wrote this:

And all of the sudden made us all having second thoughts about the claim you are trying to sustain on your first sentence.

I'm not here to argue, I'll learn on my own. Telling someone what they should've or should not have done after the fact doesn't do much good.
@m5eaygeoff Thanks for the insight. To everyone's point, I've read of people growing junipers indoors successfully for many years, so it's definitely possible. You all can have your opinions, but I'm just here to learn and take any constructive criticism people wish to share.

You are obviously not willing to take any advice - and criticism is advice too. You are not here to learn.
I'll learn on my own
You certainly will learn on your own that you're doing it wrong. Your first lesson will be a dead tree.

Junipers, are species that do like their nice and sunny and warm spot. And then need a period of cool to relax, build up reserves or whatever they do during that time. If you put a serious amount of energy (Literally) towards this goal, sure you will succeed, eventually.
However, if you want to proove that you are not an idiot, don't behave like one. Read, think, and then come online and post thinigs in a forum. Otherwise, just one bullshit remark infects the rest of your posts.
If you truely are here to learn, listen to what is being posted, read between the lines.
Junipers are not good for indoor cultivation. The only specis that survive over a reasonable amount of time are typically certain sub-tropicals.
But hey. Proove me wrong. Go ahead. You would be the first in thousands to get it right te first time.
