I never bought a tree or felt the need for one. But I was recently given one as a Christmas gift.I do respect trees and living things in general so I will like to sabe the little tree if possible.
I do not know what type it is, or how to care for it. I have been watering it every 5 to 7 days when the soil feels dry.
I wanted to keep it ar home in a sunny window, but my cat decided that the tree was his personal toy and harassed it. The very first day I had it, I had to rescue it 4 times in the space of 5 hours.
So I decided to bring it into work.
I work in a studio in a mall. We do not get a lot of narural light.
And I am wondering if that will be a problem.
Currently the tree does not look like it is doing well. While it is still green it feels brittle and the needles are starting to fall off.
Is there any hope? Should I try to save it or fund it a better home?

We get TONS of posts like this around this time of year. We repeatedly give TONS of the same advice or suggestions, especialy around this time of year.

Nope. It's dead (or, if it currently looks like that picture, and the foliage at the top is not brittle yet: It's not dead yet, but dying with little chance of recovery. If all foliage is brittle, it is dead). Junipers do not belong indoors and the climate where you have put it in is its death sentence.
By the way:
This plant is just a young cutting in a small pot. It has had no bonsai training or shaping/styling at all, and cannot be considered a bonsai.

Out of the goodness of her heart and lack of understanding what a 名媛直播 is, my wife bought my a similar juniper to start 名媛直播 with. I have in the past, experimented with junipers from local garden shops but had no success because I left them inside. My most recent juniper is sitting outside and doing well. After I take my beginner class on 名媛直播 in February, I will make better assessments on my juniper and my future in 名媛直播. So far... knowledge has been power.
Please don't say anything, what ever you say, even in jest "Auk" will jump all over you !!!

I guess that was in jest? I'll bite though.
Simplysaid's mail contains nothing I do not agree with, nothing that is not right, and I have got nothing to add to it.

Rereading Simplysaids post, and changing my opinion. Let me rephrase:
Simplysaids post (oops... I wrote mail ) comes from experience and is a valuable addition to this thread.

Sorry, it was a really bad day at the office sort of day, kicking Auk, seemed like a better ideal than kicking the dog. Please forgive the outburst. I will focus better, and won't let it happen again.

Nice. Way to go Samantha. This forum is one of the best I've been and keeping it that way also implies classy members that know how to do things right.
