Not many species dislike sunlight, and giving a plant 4 hours of sunlight per day is hardly ever a problem, and normally a good minimum. No plant likes to be completely dry. hardly any plant likes continuously soaking wet roots.

I would say that it is most likely a Chinese Elm, as far as I can tell at least.

Thank you all for the replies. I was travelling and I had limited access to my email.
I have re-potted the trees to another pots with holes.
My question was repeated because the answer was not very definitive (at least to my understanding). And I was puzzled because I thought different species might require different treatment.
I see no need to be offensive, even if I asked repeated or stupid question.
Anyway I appreciate the time you spent reading the post. Hopefully the trees will regain its life again.
