LOL... I completely forgot about that page. Nice to read again that not only on this forum 'participants are a bit mean (they don’t really mean to be but they’ve seen hundreds of these little trees and are just a little weary of the same questions, problems and, seemingly, the same looking tree)'

Great post. Wonder whether I have ever seen it before. Should be recommended reading for every new-poster.

Would be sad to see you go. I tyhink you can learn a lot from the people on this forum. Most of them are very helpfull getting everyone started. But you do need to be willing to learn, and not grow hurt feelings whenever not everyone is standing on their chairs cheering for every cutting you show. Often the direct honest truth helps you to grow better than a pampered 'That is really nice'.
I still do not understand why you call the first answer you received snotty. Probably a cultural thing. For your next tree: Read up, find some info about bonsai. Show you have done this when you post a question. (This is true for every forum you go to. If I were to go to a Koi forum and show a herring I bought, they will also tell me that it is no Koi and does not belong on the forum. I should go to a generic aquarium forum for advice on this fish.. No matter how often I would call out: it is a fish, isn't it; they will not be amused or impressed.)
