Hi everybody,

Happy Christmas to all.

My lovley girlfriend bought me a bice bonsai trio kit by plant theatre. Now although i love this culture and the art I am very very new to this and i would like if someone gave me some clear guidelines and maybe some tricks and tips into growing a beautiful tree. Attached is a picture of the kit. It containes compost, seeds and a fragile pot kind of.

I would like to know a few basic things. Like how much time it takes to start growing and the best tempreture for the tree to grow. Also watering routines and the best compost for them to grow into a healthy tree. All help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryab

I think it came with a leaflet? Does it have instructions how to sow and grow the trees?

some tricks and tips into growing a beautiful tree.

If you want to grow a beautiful bonsai, you need beautiful material first. Let your seedlings grow for a couple of years.
Take that time to learn about bonsai training. Then buy good starter-material.

Thanks for the reply. Ues i have the manual which i have to read carefully still becase i think its tricky because it says that ou have to keep it in a consolidated bag and refrigirated.

They also have me these pots. They are made of thick paper kind of and seem a bit fragile. When do i have to replace this pot with a real big pot. Thanks

Well... start reading. What's so tricky, I assume you do have a fridge?

Never. You can simply plant the pot into a larger pot.
I'm pretty sure that will be mentioned in the instructions.

BTW: don't expect you'll get trees as shown on the photos. Creating such trees from seed would take a bonsai expert a few decades.
