As Auk said.. It is hard to tell what exactly this could be. Good plant. Repotting in winter might not be optimal though; You could wait untill spring for the repot, if you do not have a place to keep it in the light, but sheltered from frost for the first weeks?

Then in spring make a plan.

I'd go for Litterati myself. Chop the stuff at the bottom and do something with the top. But thats just me.

Hi everyone, been a while since last on but I finally got this tree reported.
Thought I'd post the photos here so you can see what it used to look like.
I chopped the top off after it had been air layered for a year, never produced as as many roots as I'd hope but I potted anyway, see if it pulls through. As the foliage is all on one side it looked weird potted so I removed it and wired it like a bow and reported it, hopefully do a cascade style I'd it pulls through.
The main tree needs wired and carved buy I love it. Your opinions are appreciated.
Also in the pics are some hedges I dug up 2 years ago

Going for litterati style by the way, was unable to edit previous post.
Pot is 50cm diameter if this helps gauge size for guessing age.
