I think it was a Juniper but looks dead to me. At least you did not call it bonsai

Not sure what it is, but it certainly isn't a juniper.

Hit the wrong button, did not mean to thankyou. Looked at the first pic but not the second, but it still looks near dead to me. Could be Forsythia or Elder? It's that type of growth.

Forsythia... seems to make sense. I'd need a beter close-up of the leaves.
