I'm new to this forum and seeing a lot of you have experience your advice is much appreciated. I bought this from Bunnings today. It came with soil and fertiliser and the plant obviously. Please tell me how old you think it is and how do I properly care for it in regards to outdoor/indoor and how often I should water. Where I am from it is Spring now. Thanks!

Just when I thought it could not get any worse... you posted this completely ridiculous piece of a non-sai.
This has got absolutely nothing to do with bonsai. It is a cut off twig in a pot. How old it is? Can't see how old the mother-plant was, but this is less than a year old.
Hope you did not pay more than the price of the pot for it.
By the way, we are getting posts like this on an almost daily basis at the moment. Read a couple of topics and you'll find your answers.

What is offensive is someone trying selling this as a bonsai.

What you have there has nothing to do with bonsai. If you want to turn it into a bonsai, plant it outside in a graden. Leave it for a few years Meanwhile, read up on bonsai. In five years you can to the first trimming & wiring. All in all you will keep it in the ground for at least 10 years, by then you will know what to do with it.
