Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone could help me to identify my new bonsai I picked up from the local garden center. Any advice or links to advice on looking after it would also be welcomed.
Living in a flat in Wales so cant keep it outdoors.
Only purchased very recently so haven't got to know when it needs watering yet.
I don't know a lot about the soil but it seems to absorb water quickly and drains through a hole in the center of the pot.
Kept on a wide windowsill with the most sunlight in the flat.
Thanks in advance.

typically you ask the seller what plant you are buying before you leave the store..
Hard to judge without knowing the size, but I would say it could be ligustrum. Furthermore, the foliage pictures give the impression of a spider mite infection, but I see no webbing. Please check whether your plant is insect-free.

Thanks for your reply. I did ask the seller but stupidly I forgot. He recommended it as very easy to care for as an indoor bonsai and as I am new to bonsai that's why I bought it. Its around 10 inches tall if that helps to confirm. I can't see any insects but I will keep an eye out. Thanks.
