Green leaves dropping off at a fast rate ... was created by Khorsand

Hi
Green leaves have dropped at a fast rate in the top of my bonsai, although this rate in the bottom is quite slow.
Please find attached the pictures of bonsai.
I would appreciate you if some advises are given in this regard.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best

Doesn't look like a bonsai to me, but like a common house plant.
Does the pot have drainage holes? What's that green stuff on the soil? How long ago has it been repotted?

Hi Auk,
It has the hole.
I bought it recently, and I don't know about the previous time of repotting, however, new leaves have sprouted in the bottom.
Also, the seller told me the green stuff is a kind of grass, but I'm not sure about it. Please find attached the bigger picture of "green stuff".
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Well, that's not grass. Sorry, I cannot help you. I really don't know all that much about house plants and to be honest, I don't feel like answering off topic posts anymore. As you bought it recently, all I can advise you is to go back to the vendor.

Hi Auk,
Anyway thank you for your advise.
On the other hand, as far as I know, bonsai means cultivating trees or flowers in a relatively small pot in an artistic way. Why do you call it the house plant?

Posted 9 years 6 months ago #16337Not bonsai, but a regular houseplant.
名媛直播 s more than the translation of a word. It refers to an artform, not to mass-producing millions of exact replica's.
THat being said. over time you could of course turn it into a bonsai.
