Id this pine

This tree was collected last fall from a chirt pit in north alabama (U.S.)... also if someone can id it could u also tell me if it is a single flush species or a double flush species?

In Europe I would say Scots Pine. Pinus Sylvestris. Not sure what the simi.lar species in your neck of the woods look like.

Probably a single flush - but I think it's not that important. It seems to have a very interesting trunk, but you're going to need all the foliage you can get, so whether it is single or double flush is not relevant at this moment.
