So i have been wanting to get into the bonsai bussines for a long time now and i guess i just decided its the right time.
Ok so where do i begin. So far ive been thinking that a juniper would suit my climate best (continental i bealive) in which there are hot summers and cold winters.Ive also heard that they are very strong trees that can take agressive prunning farely well. And so, i have some questions/ request for tips:
1.Watering- So i know the basic:"Dont let it get completly dried out and dont overdue it" but since im kinda "wooden" when it comes to these things i guess i wanted to ask a couple of questions on the matter.Like how does the rain affect it and altough i know what you guys are gonna say but still, what would be or what is the estimate frequency of watering that you have(a week, every day, every 3rd day...).Of course any tips are welcome!
2.How to get it- From what ive so far seen i can basicly just out and buy a small young juniper and prune it to size?
3.How often do you fertilaze it? i know it depends on certain factors but a rough estimate maybe?
4.When can you specificly prune it? Maybe even "to the ecsact month" specificly.
So overall those are my questions for now.Again, remember that all tips count.Oh, and sorry if my english is bad  . Thanks!

Rain is water... when it rains, natre is watering your trees. If it rains enough, you don't water.
In our wet Dutch climate, from autumn till spring may not water for weeks as there'll be enough rain - and there will not be much evaporation, so the soil does not dry out quickly. Still, I need to be on the alert for longer dry periods.
Everyone here will tell you they don't water every week, day, 3rd day - as we do not water according to a schedule.
You need to learn to watch and see when the tree needs watering. When you use a good, well draining soil, it's easier: you can water every day as the excess amount of water will drain out.

If you buy a small young juniper and prune it 'to size', you will have a smaller, cut young juniper, but not a bonsai.
名媛直播 is trying to create the image of a massive old tree - but miniaturized. You'll need a good trunk, strong branches... but this has been discussed on this forum numerous times. I suggest you start looking at examples and look for websites that explain how to form a good bonsai. First of all, you'll need a healthy tree and vigorous growth.
3.How often do you fertilaze it? i know it depends on certain factors but a rough estimate maybe?
Depends on the season, the tree, the soil, the state of development... but I fertilize once, using loads of organic fertilizer. Then once in a while (probably once every 2 weeks) I use liquid fertilizer. After a while I replace the organic fertilizer.
4.When can you specificly prune it? Maybe even "to the ecsact month" specificly.
Depends on the species.
