The thick top is accomplished by regularly pruning our trees... Now, how you get to 6 to 8 leaves in a branch? Well, by taking good care of your tree, watering it, fertilizing it... Definitely, by letting your tree grow healthy. A way of speeding up this process would be by planting your tree in the ground instead of a pot if it is not well developed yet.

That?s a ficus, I see?
No, it possibly won?t hurt the tree irreversibly, Ficus can and will endure a lot. However, this is a young tree... Right now your main concern should be keeping it healthy and thriving. There isn?t much you can do about it. At the very most you could place better the branches, but nothing more. There is a lot of backbudding your going to need, nevermind more branches. Also, you should keep this tree outdoors as long as temperatures remain above 15?C.
Oh, one more thing... This tree isn?t and won?t ever be regarded as a 名媛直播, actually is widely know as a "Mallsai". That topic has been extensively discussed in this forum. Why is that? Because of this:
Anyways, don?t let yourself down. These trees are incredibly good and strong to begin learning and will endure a lot forgiving most of our beginners mistakes.
