Hey, I've been really concerned about what's happening to my juniper bonsai plant. I live in a dry desert, and try my best to add more water since the soil is really dry. It's really windy and it's cold at night. My bonsai plant is just extremely dry and the branches fall off easily like I accidentally moved one of the branches and it just came off. When I water the plant once a week, A LOT of bubbles get out from all parts of the soil. I tried watering it twice a week when it's dry, I spray insect spray, fertilizer, and I recently bought little fertilizer sticks for my plant. I don't know what's wrong, is it my watering skills are terrible or the desert just isn't a sustainable place for a bonsai? Thanks!

Which is to say..
Deserts are dificult to keep plants (But junipers are suitable species)
Watering just once a week is way too little (I water almost every day in srping, and often twice a day in summer)
Juniper that drops crisp branches typically are dead.
Do post a picture for a helpfull answer.

Dry, yellow, branches snapping off... even without a photo I'm going to say this juniper died about 3 months ago.
