Hi,
I am from Kolkata (India). I read in one site that we can replace the AKADAMA with CATLITTER. Is that true? If yes then what type of catlitter would be best. Please suggest me. There are many type of catlitter is showing and I don’t have any idea on Catlitter.

You cannot use any cat litter, you would need a non-clumping type, and it needs to be the right material (so no paper or wood pellets).

I see on the label it is 100% Bentonite. If I am correct, that is a clumping type, so it is not suitable.

Further I found:
"Some recipes are better than others but the one that I find that comes closest to meeting all these requirements is one that uses a little Bentonite, an extremely fine clay. It’s used in the well-drilling business to line the drill holes in the ground. But pure Bentonite has too many major disadvantages. By itself it’s far too sticky. When allowed to dry out it cracks and after drying out it repels water. It’s to dense for roots and moss to penetrate"

So apparently you can use it as part of a soil recipe, but not on its own.

As I have no experience with it, I'm not recommending it though.
