I'm a new bonsai owner and have had a rough experience with my first tree. The tree almost died but I managed to bring it back to life. The tree doesn't look too great now and I'm unsure where to go from here. I'm not sure what species it is but maybe one of you will be able to let me know. If you have any suggestions on what I need to do to take proper care of my bonsai I would appreciate it.

I am sure that you will be able to get the ifo you need. On the other hand, often it is easiest to just ask the trader where you got the plant which species it is...

Just to be sure; Where do you keep the plant? It looks like it might be a bit short of light. As for species.. It hints at ligustrum species, but the leaf tips seem wrong. Can you post clear, focussed pictures of just the leaves and the attachment to the stem?

Care is always dependent on the species.
