This is not true bonsai. this is a commercialised "bonsai" in which people on this forum like to refer to as "mallsai" (mall and bonsai mixed together).
bonsai is not a species but an art, trees must have certain characteristics in order to be bonsai e.g a good taper of the trunk, interesting nebari...

This is a typical "mallsai", there are thousands of these grown purely to make money. If you really want to get into bonsai I would advise you to do some research (basics paged on this website prove to be very helpful), join a club, but most importantly have fun! ;)

Damn Germans! I got it from Bauhaus, they told me it was a real bonsai.

But what about these guys, i have them also. But are they also not real 名媛直播?

Im really interested about 名媛直播, but im a complete N00B. once in a while i get interested about things like this, once it was reptiles, and i read everything about them that i could find and was active on at least 4 reptiles forums, I had iguanas, snakes, frogs, and turtles over a few years period. All reptiles are illegal to have in my country, and its too cold for them to live here in the wild. Im getting the feeling that bonsai trees are about to grab my attention at a similar scale.

My biggest problem (for both my reptile entusiasm and 名媛直播 trees is my location, I live on an island so north that you can say that im on the top of the world. I live in Iceland.
But, where there is a will, there is a way! :)

Regards
Svavar

I am sorry that I be the one to break it to you, but no, those are not true bonsai, but as well, mallsai. I would strongly advise that you read the basics pages on the forum and also the origin of bonsai pages as that info is essential and will form the foundation musts of bonsai. If you live in iceland then try and grow local species of tree and turn that into bonsai, that, i deem, is the most effective way of creating bonsai if you are in the climate which you are in. If you have a garden then place the collected tree or young tree in a pot or plant in the ground. Do you live on the mainland or on a small island off of the mainland? The answer to this question could decide whether the option to join a bonsai club is available (this being the best way of learning about bonsai IMO). But do some research in order to see if there is a bonsai club near you.

And do not worry, i am quite new to this as well :D ;)
