The other free tree

This is a picture of the other tree I got for free. This one too seems to have been neglected quite some time, the branches have not been pruned and have become too long. The trunk is nice and thick - but the roots are not so nice.
While the trunk is thick, it could use more taper.
Plans for this year:
- Put it in a larger pot, replace the soil, probably no root pruning yet
- Prune the branches that are too long
- As usual: Let it grow
Any ideas on the development of this tree?

How did it turn out? did it have really cool leaves, this spring?
Come on now, how can you introduce such a cool tree, and never show it again?

But I did! There is another thread about this tree that I posted not long after this post, when it was blossoming.
Your timing is perfect though... the last post about this tree was 11 months and 3 weeks ago. I was planning to update this very week - as it is in full bloom (like exactly a year ago).
Pictures will follow soon!

AUK... one of the reasons I come to this forum, is too see more advanced designs of trees. Also to see progressions of trees. Can't wait to see the pic.

So are you saying that the tree looks the same as it did a year ago?

No, I'm saying this was a double-post.

Thank you, so much for pointing that out. That turned out to be a really pretty tree, and for free!
