I wanted to see if I could get some help with the type of tree in the photo. I think it is a giant sequoia but I am not sure and would like to know. I found this near my office on the property when I was out walking. I was thinking I would like to propagate the tree if I can. Not sure since it's some type of evergreen.
Thanks for the help.

Sequoiadendron Giganteum - but a close up of the foliage would help.

I think it's a sequoia sempervirens.
I got confused by one of the photos, where it looks more like a sequioadendron.

Goood question. Sorry i pressed the thankyou by accident but ay oh it gives you a better record i think  .
I could be rather wrong about this but would say i am still sticking on giant sequoia because of the leaves these ones you purpose are more the shape of yew these leaves look very similar (my suggestion/yours auk and the topic photo). Then again i may be wrong.
