Well, I think you were right. The tree that I have with me I believe it falls better into the Chamaecyparis species. I?ve found out that it is also known as false cypress or japanese cypress (Hinoki). Luckily enough, care guides for these two species are pretty similar, so, I haven?t been killing my tree all along with mistaken cares after all. So, I thank you for your help identifying it. Perhaps I should change the title of this thread now, but I just don?t know how to do that.

Guys, sorry I might be driving you all crazy with this thread, but the truth is I am already going nuts with this issue, since everytime I read something, it points me towards one direction and then to another one. The thing is I need identifying my tree without any shadow of doubt. Therefore I?m posting here 4 pictures. The first one corresponds to a Cryptomeria, the second one belongs to a Chamaecyparis and the last two are those matching my tree. I?m once again leaning towards Cryptomeria, but then again I?m not sure of anything anymore. Hope you can help me.
