It is a juniper possibly chinensis. Are the needles hard or soft? It would make a good cascade in a proper pot.

It would need a pot say 6 inches high and 3 inches square. Then the foliage needs to be sorted out.
Could be needle Juniper. You don't sat what part of the world you are in it helps.

This is a juniperus procumbens nana, a Japanese garden juniper.

this is a rooted cutting any pruning now will not be good. it is a great time to define its trunk position.straight,curvy, casacade.... it has a young root system so it will be touchy for a wile.
keep it out of hot sun.
