Hello everyone, my first post.
I potted my rosemary in a training pot in August and it started flowering few weeks ago, just wondering is this the wright time of year for rosemary to flower, I know they normally flower in spring. And any advise on keeping rosemary as bonsai?
Thanks

Maybe it depends what country you are in? There is no clue in your post. If the weather is mild then there is no reason why it should not flower, The fact that you did it in August suggests that you might be in the southern hemesphere but I may be wrong on that.

Ok,
Well I am not that far away from you. I don't think it is that Unusual, I was looking at some Rosemary this afternoon and they had flowers. We have had a very mild autumn, they say it might be the wettest on record. We have not been anywhere near a frost yet, so it is not surprising. They are a hardy species, and will survive the winter we have no problem. It may be that when you potted out of season that it decided that it had better flower before it died. No, it should be ok, but try to keep to spring for re potting.
Geoff.
