Find a garden centre near you and pick the plants out yourself. I have no idea where you are, but I never buy if I can't pick it for myself, I hsve several garden centres where I can look over thier reduced stock, in one they have a bonfire pile! We have found some good trees on there.
Check out the hedgerows and see if there is anything that might be useful, but make sure you get permission before you go digging.
