Hi guys! Had my first ever 名媛直播 for 8 months now just don't know what it is :dry: Is still alive just leaves are falling off and turning yellow but it is Autumn now so.
Oh this is what it looked like 6 months ago.

Definitely an elm. Have you been keeping it inside the whole time?

Oh and I should add when it was bought 8 months ago was already 4 years old.

It needs to be outdoors really to thrive - it may survive indoors given the best possible conditions, but if it is losing leaves then it probably needs a change of venue. Have you got a recent photo to upload?

No not at the moment it is still alive as when I cut a bit in the trunk was green inside I kind of like it inside to look at and was sold as indoor tree. I will just monitor it carefully. looks OK just some yellowing leaves and sometimes a couple of them drop off which I remove so as not to go moldy. Keep it in same place all the time on windowsill so got sunlight. water when needed, careful not to over water and spray the leaves daily with water/baby bio.

Only thing I havent done since got it is fertilize it unless spraying with baby bio counts?

Sounds OK then - I thought perhaps you had concerns about the leaf drop but they do that anyway...your care regime sounds good, I think it has probably taken enough feed through the leaves, regular misting is a good idea for humidity but plain water will do most days, maybe a few drops of baby bio once a week in summer in the watering water, less in winter

Just because it was sold as an indoor tree does not mean that was right. It is not an indoor tree and will not survive if it kept in that kind of environment. The light is not good enough, and the atmosphere is not good enough. Chinese Elm is a hardy species capable of withstanding remps to -10C Mine does every year.
The tree needs the cold to become dormant which is needed to maintain vigour, without which it will not survive long.
