As far as species it looks a bit like it might be Ficus. As for style it needs to survive and grow first.

it is hard to tell with so little foliage ,but i am leaning towards a boxwood or holly spieces

Could be box, maybe privet (ligustrum)?

looks like boxwood but yes hard to tell.
It would be an awesome tree btw small with a massive trunk love it.
