:S

As you can see, I have prematurely removed portions of my Juniper that I now realize should have stayed in place. I also removed all foliage from the underside of the tree. Is there any hope for bringing this guy back around and eventually having a nice tree in a few years? I was thinking possible going for the Cascade style since that is all I think might be plausible. Any hopes of going back upright? I was overly eager to try some pruning due to excitement...yeah. That happens sometimes I guess. Live and learn though!

Any styling tips or recommendations would be helpful! Thanks.

Hi there!
Greetings from Denmark.

Be not afraid.
Though you didn't post any before-pictures, I would say that it isn't too late.
If you have a good place in your garden, plant it there, and let it be for a couple of years. It might help to mist the foliage in the morning, and do not fertilize for some time. Keep an eye on it, and see what happens.

Yes plant it in the ground to get a trunk in a few years, or you could go Literati and remove more foliage and wire the trunk up, just a thought. Or you coud layer it and make a clump style, plenty of choices,
Geoff.

I was thinking I could let it go and maybe go cascade with it. I prefer the more vertical styles so I might just get crazy and do something different. We'll see. I don't want to give up on it just yet.

Hey there,
You really need to let the tree rest before doing anything else to it. I agree with everyone else here. you should plant it in the ground and let it go for a year or more.

I'd go for a wind(storm)swept style, which may or may not evolve to a cascade... Just looking at your tree I can already hear the breeze.

Very good idea! Thanks. I will try to get it in the ground soon so it can fill back out.
