I am a beginner in the art of bonsai last week I bought my first bonsai tree from a shop in malta and when I went home searching about the new bonsai I bought I did not find any information about it about the ligustrum in general a little but on my sub species nothing can anyone direct me or send me some information please

about watering how do I treat it. do I water everyday or check it if the soil is dry or not?

another problem I have is about the fertilizer I bought the westland bonsai plant food and it has instructions to mix 10ml with 1ltr of water do I feed her 1ltr of water in a day? I see it as too much

My Privet Ligustrum Ovalifolium loves water. As soon as the soil gets too dry, it shows immediately. Water as descibed on .
Privets are quite hardy, a little drought or a little too much water won't kill it.

and when it comes to fertilising 1ltr and 10ml fertiliser is too much for one day as I see it what I do

Exactly! The instructions give you the ratio in which to mix the fertiliser with water. You could also make 100ml water with 1ml of fertiliser. Do note however, that mixing large quantities gives you a more accurate mixing ratio (The mistakes are smaller) than when mixing smaller quantities. So get an old coke bottle, mix up a full liter of water with fertiliser. Then water your trees every month to two weeks, depending on growth of the plant, with the fertiliser mixture. The rest of the time you place the bottle in a dark cupboard (If you put it in the ight, you will have a green algea mush within a few weeks) for use the next time around.

Once you have a few trees it won't be a problem anymore, as you will use more than a liter for every round of watering.
