Hello to all :) can anyone identify the species of my tree please and can this trunk be wired and shaped it seems to small and to brittle in my opinion, if the photos dont give a clear idea of scale the trunk is about as long as a cigarette also how much of the tree can be trimmed? any advice would be really helpfull many thanks in advance :)

It looks like it could be an olive, if so the trunk will be very stiff by now

ok thanks, never thought about olive.it wont matter if trunk has to stay straight it will hopefully still look nice with the leaves trimmed. will have to try wiring a trunk on another tree. thanks again for your comments it all helps when you have only just started.
