The weather where I live can get quite cold in the winter (0°C or 32°F in winter) and pretty hot during the summer (up to 40°C or 104°F) and is quite humid all year round.
I like how most mapples turn red during autumn so I wanted to ask which one do you recommend. I've been considering the Japanese maple (Acer Palmatum) because I like how red it gets in cold seasons and it also has one of the most beautiful leaf shapes of the species in my opinion. But, I know it's not the one that gets red the most.
So, what do you recommend? Thank you!

Palmatum have some of the reddest colors out there. Look at Desjoho for radiant red spring colors

What's the difference between that and the Deshojo? (I read that "Shin" means "new" but havent found the differences between them. Any good places to buy seeds online?

Nothing, except for that I flipped the two letters

Deshojo are not grown from seed all that well. Better get either grafted varieties but grafted for bonsai use, or get individuals grown from cuttings. Trying to propagate yourself is not worth the effort if you want to get as bright red as possible.

Well that's a bummer. I certainly don't know where to find drafts where I live and buying one online is definitely a no (well, plants can't be shipped long distances can they?)

i have had trees shipped from california to new york (2000+ miles) with no broblem.
were are you located? i know of alot of nurseries in the states and will be glad to refer you. there are 200+ species of acers avalible at my last check maybe you can find something well suited for your climate . i know deshojo have a tendency to burn in hot sun so you would have to have a shaded area if you choose that species
