Hello folks, as I'm new to bonsai, actually I do not have a bonsai tree yet as I would like to grow my own from seed.
I have a tree in my home town (actually two trees) I would like to duplicate as bonsai.
As I see it I have here a specimen of a domesticated Sequoiadendron giganteum. So please have a look at the pictures and tell me what do you think about that. Just like to make sure I'm on the right track.
Thank you very much in advance......

Dunno which trees you have. Just as a little un-asked for advice: If you start growing from seed, also consider buying some contairplants from a nursery, to practice you rhorticultural & styling skills. Otherwise you may find yourself 10 years from now, killing the trees you have grown from seed. Would not be nice
